What the Local Authorities say about us
ICE has been assessed as offering ‘outstanding’ provision.
I-C-E offer exceptional provision for children and young people in need of a specialist, time bounded,
alternative curriculum. ICE provides a model for excellence in alternative provision; that The City of Wolverhampton Council is pleased to work with as it builds strong local SEND (Special Educational Needs) and AP (Alternative Provision) partnerships.

We were very impressed by the clarity of vision, direction, and approaches of ICE. This focuses on supporting students who are at risk of being permanently excluded from their current school through their short-term mentoring and personal development programmes to address students’ problematic behaviour alongside core subject academic work that is tailored to the needs and interests of individual students.
The considerable experience of the ICE leaders across a range of alternative provision setting has clearly been very valuable in helping establish the provision on a strong footing so quickly and effectively. They are also clearly well qualified and experienced to support students with a history of challenging behaviour and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) in their previous settings - Walsall Council.
