Rachael Perry
Rachael is a Qualified Teacher with extensive experience working in education. Rachael has worked across a broad range of settings including Primary, Secondary, Special Needs and Pupil Referral Units. She has worked internationally, teaching, building departments and training staff in Lesotho, Africa. Rachael is experienced in many roles at a high-level including Drama, Personal Development and English Teacher, English Head of Department, Head of Year, Pastoral Lead and Assistant Head Teacher. Rachael is passionate, enthusiastic and an outstanding teacher with a child-centred approach which is key to her success. She is organised and strives to create a culture of belonging in any setting. Rachael believes that clear communication is essential across all settings, allowing barriers to be removed and for all parties to have access to accurate and up to date information, she has been the key parental contact for schools and liaised with parents, carers and multi agencies. Rachael's qualifications include, English/Drama Degree, PGDE, NPQSL, Safeguarding, Trauma Informed Practice, First Aid and PRICE. Rachael loves the Theatre and to travel and enjoys embracing different cultures wherever she goes. Rachael effectively utilises her Drama background in her approach which is evident in her teaching, engagement, workshops and interventions.

Neville Fennell
Nev is a Qualified Teacher with vast experience in Behaviour Management. Nev has had previous roles that include, being a Professional Footballer, Football Coaching, Youth Offending Team, Teacher of Sport and Pastoral Manager in a Pupil Referral Unit. Nev has extensive experience delivering interventions to help students overcome barriers and provide them with the tools to best manage their behaviours and attitudes, this support also includes facilitating meetings with Parents, Carers, Schools and Multi Agency meetings where information can be shared effectively. Nev enjoys playing Golf and giving opportunities for young people to broaden their horizons with new experiences. Nev is our Designated Safeguarding Lead, he has additional qualifications in Trauma Informed Practice, First Aid, PRICE Training and Medical Administration. Nev is passionate about working with young people, to offer the additional support they require, whether this is academically or personally. Nev runs successful interventions and workshops for young people involved in or on the periphery of crime and takes pride in being part of their bigger picture putting the building blocks in place for success, no matter how small.

Kevin Thorpe
Kev has 16 years experience in education gained across Mainstream Schools, 5 years at an SEMH School and 6 years in a Pupil Referral Unit. He has been an ECB Level 2 Qualified Cricket Coach for a number of years coaching under 7’s right through to under 16’s teams. Most recently Kev was the Manager for the Outreach Provision at a Pupil Referral Unit, who, alongside a team of staff, was responsible for the education of a large number of young people who were unable to attend the setting. This was for various reasons including assault on staff/peers, gang related separation, persistent disruptive behaviour and school refusers. Kev has extensive experience of facilitating Multi Agency and Parental meetings alongside his work with hard-to-reach students. Kev has a BA Hons Degree in Youth, Community and Families, and is close to completing his MA in Education. He is also Safeguarding, Trauma Informed Practice, First Aid and PRICE Trained.
